We have never advertised a listing. We have never held an open house. What we have done, quietly, for nearly three decades, is place fewer than three hundred families into homes they will not leave.
One office. One principle. No signage.
Houzez was founded in 1998 above a florist on South Beverly Drive by a broker who had grown tired of watching great houses treated as inventory. There was no marketing budget and no storefront — only a telephone, a leather ledger, and a rule that a residence would never be shown to anyone who could not properly own it.
That rule has not changed. Today the practice occupies a private floor on Wilshire with no name on the door, and the ledger — now digital, still closed — holds relationships spanning three generations of the same families.
Each advisor carries no more than six active clients. Scale is the enemy of the attention these homes require.
